The Residence has seven comfortable and fully equipped apartments. It is located along the North-Western coast of Trapani and Erice, famous for its beaches and its several suggestive inlets (Pizzolungo, Bonagia, Monte Cofano, san Vito lo Capo). The so called “Virgil's places” , chosen by the latin poet to set one part of the “Eneide” are just few meters from the residence. “Eneide” is the ideal choice to whom look for sun, sea, but also culture , history and suggestions for an holiday in Western Sicily.

A DIVE INTO THE MYTH
Virgil, the big latin poet and historian decided to set an important part of his masterpiece the “Eneide” (the epic tale of Enea and his escape from Troy) along the coast from Trapani to Bonagia. It is probable that he made this choice to ratify a blood tie between Romans and Elimyan people (the mythical inhabitants of western Sicily). The poet tells the vicissitudes which forced Enea and his men to attempt a landing on our coast, the subsequent death of his father Anchise and the funeral celebrated in his honour. All these events, considering what is written on the Eneide took place just a few metres away from our Residence. The name of the Residence is obviously a tribute to the masterpiece of Virgil. A stay at our residence allows to enrich your holiday also with the typical suggestions of a place which was the setting of an important part of the western world.

ON THE SLOPE OF ERICE
The Residence stand nearby Bonagia, an old fishermen village founded during the Arab's domination (in Arabic Bonagia means “safe refuge”), on the slope of Erice/Saint Giuliano Mount and is a few hundreds metres from the sea and seaside areas. It is easy to reach Trapani Port (12 Km) and Trapani Airport (35 Km).The Residence is about 80 Km from Palermo Airport (about 1 hour by car). The position is strategic, it is easy to reach the most important touristic destinations of Western Sicily. Nearby Bonagia there are other tourist and cultural destinations (Tonnara di Bonagia, Lido Valderice, Cornino, Cala Buguto, Macari, San Vito lo Capo, etc.).
